Welcome to NTPRS 14!!

We are so glad that you have come to see us at NTPRS 14 in Chicago!!   Embedded Reading was originally created for a TPRS class and so we are extremely grateful to the entire TPRS community for helping us to organize and to share this approach.

Below you will find the PowerPoints used for both the Introduction to Embedded Reading session and the Advanced Reading session.

Welcome to IFLT 2014!!

Hello and welcome to your information from IFLT 2014 in Denver, Colorado!!    It has been wonderful to meet with you all and discuss all of the possibilities for Embedded Reading in your classrooms!  As always, if you have any questions, please ask by commenting here on the blog or send an email to lclarcq@yahoo.com.    If you create Embedded Readings that you would like to share, please send them to the same email address and we will share them here for other teachers (and their students) to benefit from!

Here is the PowerPoint from IFLT 2014:

Use of Materials from the Embedded Reading Website

Sadly, it has come to our attention that despite several postings about the proper use of materials from this site, that a few entrepreneurial individuals took it upon themselves to attempt to use materials from this site for their own profit.

As those infractions come to our attention, we contact those individuals immediately.  Thank you to all of you who have helped us in that endeavor.

The teachers who send us material to post are sharing their hard work and time.  It’s highly unprofessional, and illegal, to use those materials improperly.   It is our job at Embedded Reading.com to protect their rights.

If you would like to use the materials on this website, but are unsure about whether or not it would be appropriate, please just contact us at lclarcq@yahoo.com.    In most cases, we freely give permission to use or share.

From this time forward, you will see a reminder at the bottom of each post about appropriate use.    It is there simply to protect the rights of the teachers who generously share materials with us so that we can share them with you.

with love,

Laurie
